Day Camp
Day Camp is a five-day program designed for little adventurers who live near Camp Bighorn but aren’t ready to stay overnight. Campers will spend their days swinging down ziplines, rock climbing, making crafts, hearing a Bible story, jumping in bouncy houses and more!
For fourth graders, there is an optional overnight stay on Thursday night to get them ready for Junior Camp!

Group Sizes
Campers will be divided into groups of 8 with 2 adult leaders. This group of 10 will complete all activities and meals together.
Food
Lunch and snacks will be provided, from our camp kitchen.
Health Information
If your child is sick, please keep them home to rest and recover.
Every necessary precaution is being taken to clean and sanitize for the health of all campers and staff.
Transportation
A Complimentary Shuttle will now be available between Camp Bighorn and Plains! If you have previously registered your child without selecting a transportation option, you will be contacted via email by the front office, and the specific shuttle location will be shared if you choose this transportation option. If you decide not to use the complimentary shuttle, please see the driving instructions below.
- Parent drop-off time at Camp Bighorn is between 8:45AM-9:00AM, with pickup time between 3:35PM and 3:45PM.
- Complimentary shuttle from Plains drop-off time is between 8:30AM-8:40AM, with pickup time between 4:00PM and 4:15PM.
Fourth Grade Overnight
On Thursday night, all campers going into fourth grade are invited to stay the night. Campers will experience sleeping outside in a tent with their friends and supervised by staff. What a great way to prepare them for Middle School Camp the following summer!
Celebration
Did we mention the cookout?! Join your kiddos Friday evening at 4PM for a short program and meal to celebrate their week of adventure.

Camp Bighorn works hard to serve quality meals for all our guests. While it is our desire to meet every person's dietary needs, we are limited and can only guarantee accommodating dairy free, gluten free, nut free, and vegetarian diets. Dietary restrictions must be communicated in advance in order for our kitchen to plan adequately. For individuals with more restrictive diets, please contact our office to discuss alternatives.
