Day Camp is a five-day program designed for little adventurers who live near Camp Bighorn but aren’t ready to stay overnight. Campers will spend their days swinging down ziplines, making crafts, hearing a Bible story, jumping in bouncy houses and more!
This summer, adjustments have been made in accordance with the local health department to accommodate for COVID-19. Here are the need-to-know details:
Campers will be divided into groups of 8 with 2 adult leaders. This group of 10 will complete all activities and meals together while maintaining appropriate social distancing from other groups.
Lunch and snacks will be provided, served picnic style outside.
Campers and staff will be required to complete a daily health screening, issued by staff. This brief assessment consists of taking temperatures and asking a few basic “How are you feeling?” questions. Please know that every necessary precaution is being taken to clean and sanitize for the health of all campers and staff.
At this time, shuttle services are unavailable; campers will need to be dropped off and picked up from Camp Bighorn. If the CDC and/or the local health department update this policy and shuttle services are allowed, all registered campers will be notified!
Drop-off time is between 8:40AM-9:00AM and pickup time is between 4:00PM and 4:20PM.
A final celebration (with cake and ice cream) will be hosted at the end of the week for campers and staff!
Scholarship applications now available through the registration form.
