Happy Thanksgiving!

During this time of thankfulness, we are grateful for all that God has (and is doing) through Bighorn. Without supporters like you (both financial and prayerful), the work God is doing here would not be possible. Thank you for partnering with us to use adventure and the outdoors to embody the love of Jesus and develop Christ-honoring leaders.

Journey's 21-day Trip

Journey completed their 21-day backpacking trip in the Owyhee Desert. The students planned the route, took turns leading for a few days at a time, and delivered spiritual lessons. Their group focus for the trip was on the growth of a tree, with deep roots and healthy fruit. Upon returning, they had an end-of-semester retreat to debrief everything they had done and learned during the past few months and to allow this learning to sink in. As a staff, we enjoyed an early Thanksgiving meal with them before sending them home for a six-week holiday break. Journey will return in January for their second semester!
