Peace of Mind Despite COVID-19

April 3, 2020

Family and Friends of Bighorn,

We look forward to the day we can welcome you! Registration is now open and we would be honored for you to apply or inquire. If Camp Bighorn must cancel your summer camp due to COVID-19, we will offer you a full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Please know, we want you to have peace of mind in registering for this summer.

This has been a challenging time for so many of us! We pray that God is near and providing peace in the midst of uncertainty. These are unknown waters and it can be scary, lonely, and damaging. For all of you who may be walking through uncertainty, you are not alone.

At Camp Bighorn, we are dedicated to the safety of our staff, volunteers, and guests as well as the safety of those who may be impacted by COVID-19. We are committed to partnering alongside our local authorities and are actively seeking to follow their leadership.

While the grounds are currently shut down and our staff are working from home, we are diligently preparing for the day that it is safe to once again walk through adventure alongside each other! We know this season is hard for everyone. Somedays it feels like a horrible blizzard at the end of winter only to find that we missed summer completely! We also know that everyone needs relationship. Not the kind where you can Zoom call (although we are grateful for technology!), but the person to person, face to face relationship where you can be near.

As you know, information is developing quickly and changing often. We will be checking with the Montana Health Department and the CDC, adjusting our response as necessary.

Grace and Peace,

Brian Meaden
Executive Director
