Why we are here
Why I am here
When I was a Journey student in 2020-2021, I immediately enjoyed the Christ-centered environment found here at Camp Bighorn. Every time I have returned, this environment has continued to be one that I want to be a part of. In the years following Journey, I gained some practical skills that now allow me to serve here.
Background
Levi grew up all around the Pacific Northwest helping around his family farm. They raised pigs, goats, cows, and horses. When he was not helping on the many farm projects, he could be found in the woods photographing the beauty of nature. His family also traveled to numerous state and national parks everywhere from Washington to Texas. This exposure to the outdoors planted seeds for his love of rock climbing, hiking, skiing, and photography. He first came to Bighorn as a Journey student and a new Christian, eager to learn more about his faith. After that year, he returned home to work on his family’s farm. With his skills gained over the years, he felt God’s call to return to Bighorn and use them here.
