WHY I'M HERE
For some time, I felt God calling me into a change; but I wasn’t sure what that was. When I heard about the need at Camp Bighorn in food services, I knew instantly that was where God was leading me. My desire is to see Bighorn develop and grow, and I’m excited to be a part of that through the kitchen and hospitality.

Amanda grew up in rural Wisconsin on an organic dairy farm. The green areas, such as the forest and softly rolling hills, are places she found beauty. As an adult, she has over twenty years of experience in the food service industry, from mom and pop cafes to five-star restaurants. She loves preparing healthy dishes that taste delicious with local ingredients. Artistic and unique, Amanda is passionate about creating things with her hands, whether it be gardening, art, fashion, or food.

I manage and execute all aspects of food service operations, such as the food services team, kitchen equipment, and preparing and serving food. Additionally, one of the primary values of our kitchen is hospitality, as meals are an opportunity to build relationships.
