Johnathan & Brianna Price
Why we are here
Why I am here
During our time as students and volunteer staff, we found that life change through adventure was powerful and permanent. Partnering with Bighorn allows us to live out our calling to aid others in discovering the life-changing love of God through adventures in His creation. We are passionate about meeting people where they are at and helping them move towards Christ.
Background
Johnathan grew up in the beautiful Bitterroot valley in Montana. He was raised by a God-loving family as a tough Montana boy who spent his summers working on the family business building roads and bridges for the Forest Service. Camp ministry is something Johnathan grew up in and loved but wasn't something he ever considered as a full-time career option. He made his first visit to Bighorn at the age of 18 as a Journey student and fell in love with discipleship through adventure. Since then he has spent four years with the Journey program, one year as a student, another as a Journey intern, and is now on full-time staff. Born a native Montanan gal, Brianna enjoys the outdoors and any pursuit of adventure. Throughout her childhood, she was able to serve at Youth With A Mission (YWAM) bases around the world, gaining experiences that helped her develop a mission-based perspective towards life. Brianna first served at Camp Bighorn as summer staff in 2018, where she found encouragement for growth, leadership opportunities, and help pursuing God’s leading. Quickly convinced of the power camp ministry can have in someone's life, she returned three more times--twice as an intern and once as a Journey Gap Year student. Brianna graduated from the Journey Gap Year in April 2021 and joined full-time staff shortly afterwards.
